Lot's of spiders this year... 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hi all,

I've noticed my trees have lots of spiders this year. The garden seems to be full of them!

Any tips on keeping these guys away from the trees? I've got a general garden spray but not sure if I should or shouldn't use them on the trees.

Do spiders in general cause any damage to the trees or should I just let them be?

Cheers,
Brenden

Hi Brenden,
Yes I would get rid of the spiders. Once they start spinning the webs it restricks ventilation in your bonsai. Once this happens, soon you will find dead patches on your folige pad. Beside it is also unsightly.

Any garden insecticide - for chewing insects not sap sucking. So confidor or folimat can't be use. Mortin house and garden use to be the best but discontinue some how. Carboryl is very good and quite save to use.
